Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Monique Jackson is a licensed cosmetologist, natural hair stylist, educator, and scalp health specialist with nearly two decades of experience in the beauty industry. Known for her work with textured hair, scalp care, hair restoration, and holistic hair wellness, she has built a reputation for blending technical mastery with a restorative, whole-person approach to healthy hair. Her work is rooted in excellence, education, and intentional care for every guest who sits in her chair.
After relocating to Pittsburgh in 2009, Monique developed a strong foundation as a stylist, earning recognition as a Master Stylist at Matrix Concept Salon while working across salons throughout the East Coast. Her passion for scalp health, hair loss solutions, and natural hair care led her into education, where she became a licensed cosmetology educator. She has taught across Pittsburgh Public Schools, Empire Beauty Group, and Arrojo Cosmetology, helping to shape knowledgeable, skilled, and confident beauty professionals. Her artistry has also reached notable platforms, including styling for the Pittsburgh Steelers and collaborating with designers during New York Fashion Week.
Now based in Altamonte Springs, Florida, Monique is the founder of Treasuring Tresses Collective, a luxury, scalp-focused salon experience serving the Orlando area. The studio specializes in textured hair, restorative scalp care, natural hair services, and headspa experiences that include warm steam, therapeutic massage, scalp-focused remedies, and premium product care. Each guest begins by selecting the headspa tier that best supports their scalp and hair, then adds styling services in Acuity to complete the appointment. As more guests present with conditions such as alopecia, inflammation, shedding, dryness, and chronic scalp concerns, her approach remains focused on long-term results through education, precision, and personalized care.

Treasuring Tresses is built on the conviction that caring well for the body God has entrusted to each person is an act of stewardship.
