Our Policies
Online Salon Services Agreement
Welcome to Treasuring Tresses’s website. By booking services through our website, you ("Client") agree to the following terms and conditions ("Agreement"). This Agreement governs your use of Treasuring Tresses's online booking service, and by proceeding with the booking and making a deposit, you signify your understanding and agreement to these terms.
Payment
1. Deposit: A 35% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment. This deposit will be applied towards the cost of the initial service booked by the Client.
2. Payment Method: The Salon accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Zelle and CashApp. A 4% service fee will be added to the total at the time of checkout, no matter the payment method.
3. Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule their appointment twice for the same service within six months of the original appointment date without forfeiting the deposit. Rescheduling more than twice results in the forfeiture of the deposit, requiring a new booking and deposit.
4. Transferability: Deposits are not transferable to another person but may be applied to a different service within the Salon's offerings.
5. Final Payment: Upon checkout and submitting the remainder of the balance, the Client acknowledges that the services provided met their expectations and they were satisfied with the service.
Cancellation and No-Show
1. Cancellation Policy: Clients may reschedule their appointment without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment time will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, and a new booking will be required for future services. Cancellations day of will result in the full-service amount being charged.
2. No-Show: Failure to show up for an appointment without cancellation will result in the full-service amount being charged to the card on file. If the charge is unsuccessful, an invoice will be sent to the Client, with a three-business-day payment window. Failure to settle the invoice may lead to banning from the Salon and potential legal action.
3. Grace Period: A 10-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. Beyond 15 minutes without communication from the Client, the appointment will be considered canceled, and the deposit forfeited. If the appointment is honored after the extending the allotted grace period, a late fee will apply: $50 for services under 2 hours and $100 for services over 3 hours.
Our Service
1. Service Issues: If a Client experiences issues with their service, they must contact the Salon within one to three business days for a complimentary evaluation and correction. Beyond three business days, corrections may be denied and/or incur a fee of 0-100%, depending on the service that needs adjustment. Lack of communication from the Client regarding service dissatisfaction waives the right to dispute charges or pursue legal action against the Salon.
Intellectual Property and Artwork
1. Intellectual Property: No individual may use information posted on the Salon's website, or social media, or discussed within the Salon premises for personal gain without explicit permission.
2. Artwork and Media: All photographs and videos taken at the Salon may be used by the Salon for marketing, advertising, and branding purposes on any platform without prior notice to the Client. Such media remains the property of the Salon.
Modifications to the Agreement
1. Treasuring Tresses reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Florida. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Florida.
By booking an appointment through the Salon's website, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
In Short, you’ll be on time, if you’re running behind you’ll notify us and we’ll do the same, if you’re more than 20 minutes late your appointment and deposit may be compromised. If we need to cancel your appointment, your deposit will be refunded. By submitting your deposit, you vow to honor, cherish, and obey the commitment and policies written here.
The Commitment
At Treasuring Tresses, we are dedicated to ensuring that your experience with us not only meets but exceeds your expectations. We strive to deliver unparalleled service and exquisite care to every client. In our commitment to your satisfaction, we understand that there may be instances where the outcome may not fully meet your expectations.
Should you find yourself not completely satisfied with the service provided, we kindly ask that you inform us either at the time of your service or within 24-72 hours following the completion of your service. Although all services rendered by Treasuring Tresses are non-refundable, we are committed to addressing your concerns by offering a complimentary corrective service. This offer applies strictly to instances where the service did not align with the agreed-upon expectations due to an oversight or mistake on the part of your stylist, and not to changes in preference or mind after the service has been completed.
To qualify for a corrective service, clients must contact Treasuring Tresses within 72 hours post-service to express their concerns and arrange for a consultation. Please note that corrective services will only be considered if requested within three days of the initial service date, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any issues.
Furthermore, Treasuring Tresses reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior towards any of our staff members or other clients. This policy is in place to maintain a respectful and safe environment for everyone in our salon.
By adhering to these guidelines, we aim to uphold our standard of excellence and ensure your experience at Treasuring Tresses is nothing short of extraordinary.We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at Treasuring Tresses. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 24-72 hours after your service has been performed.
All services are non-refundable but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge. The service must be a mistake from your stylist not something you might have changed your mind about after the service was performed. Customers have 24-72 hours to contact the salon to receive a complementary service to discuss any dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed three days after the initial service date.
Treasuring Tresses has the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our staff members or customers/clients.

Master Stylist | Educator
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Monique Jackson is a visionary natural hair stylist, educator, and holistic beauty leader whose work is rooted in excellence, education, and purpose. From the start of her career, Monique has been driven by a clear mission: to refine her craft, empower beauty professionals, and elevate the industry through knowledge, integrity, and care for the whole person.
After relocating to Pittsburgh in 2009, Monique built a strong foundation as a stylist, earning the title of Master Stylist at Matrix Concept Salon and working across salons throughout the East Coast. Her growing fascination with hair and scalp health led her beyond the chair and into education, where she became a licensed Cosmetology Educator and began shaping the next generation of beauty professionals.
Her teaching career spans Pittsburgh Public Schools, Empire Beauty Group, and Arrojo Cosmetology, and her artistry has been showcased on notable platforms, including styling for the Pittsburgh Steelers and collaborating with designers during New York Fashion Week. These experiences solidified her reputation as both a skilled practitioner and a respected educator.
In 2016, Monique relocated to Central Florida and, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, established her salon suite in Altamonte Springs. Today, she holds active cosmetology licenses in New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida, allowing her to travel, educate, and consult while remaining deeply connected to her salon community.
Monique is currently serving as Director of Cosmetology at Tansey’s Hair and Beauty Academy, where she leads curriculum development, mentors instructors and students, and helps shape industry-ready professionals with a strong technical and ethical foundation. Alongside her leadership role, she is studying to become a certified nutritionist, further expanding her ability to address hair and scalp health from a holistic, root-cause perspective.
As increasing numbers of clients present with conditions such as alopecia and seborrheic dermatitis, Monique has pursued additional training in Alternative Medicine and is actively working toward Trichology certification. In 2023, she began intentionally evolving Treasuring Tresses into a holistic salon sanctuary—one that integrates natural hair care, scalp health, nutrition, and faith-centered wellness.
Monique Jackson’s career reflects a continual pursuit of growth and alignment. By bridging beauty, education, nutrition, and spirituality, she is redefining what it means to care for hair and people—cultivating confidence, healing, and understanding from the inside out.
